Here's How Two Garden City Mall Guards Stopped A Bomb Attack

Security guards at a new shopping center in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, thwarted a possible bombing on Tuesday after removing an improvised explosive device from a man, a security executive said.

Guards at the Garden City mall’s security check point stopped the man wearing a device connected to a mobile phone as he tried to enter, Adam Miller, chief executive officer of security company Warrior Insight, said

The device contained about 500 grams (1.1 pounds) of explosives.

The mall was evacuated and the police have detained three men for questioning, according to a statement from Garden City.
