Having served as the CEO of Mumias, NMG and Manager at GSK Kenya, the governor’s wealth is estimated at between Ksh15 billion-Ksh22 billion. Kidero was at one time overheard saying he can finance Raila’s campaign to the tune of Ksh10 billion.
The second position is taken by Governor William Kabogo, who has interest in real estate, hospitality, agriculture and transport industry. Kabogo was once heard saying that his money can cook ”Githeri” for a week and still remain.
Ali Hassan Joho,the Mombasa Governor, comes third with estimated wealthy in excess of Ksh7 billion.Mr Joho owns several apartments in Mombasa, shipping and logistics companies and hotels.
