He works as a computer maintenance and software analysis engineer in Nairobi’s Githurai 44 area.after having acquired IT skills from an online course I took with the global learning community. His parents parted ways when he was five, and his five siblings and him were left under the care of their mother. Their mother struggled to feed them but because she had no means was unable until at eight, he started living in the streets. After three tough years roaming on the streets of Kitengela and being shunned by society, he got lucky to meet Jamii Bora founder Ingrid Munro in 2001. She took him to the Jamii Bora Boys orphanage in Kitengela, now in Kisaju. This is where he started education and his life began taking shape and acquiring meaning.
