
Another Nigerian was on Monday arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya barely a week after another one from the same oil rich nation was saved at Kenyatta National Hospital after drugs he had been taking to a Middle East country busted in his stomach.
This time the Nigerian who was carrying several pellets believed to be of heroin valued at over Sh2 million, had arrived at JKIA aboard KQ while on transit to Abidjan when police intercepted him. He was placed under observation and police say he had so far emitted 61 pellets of the drugs suspected to be heroin.
According to Airport CID boss Joseph Ngisa the man had inserted the pellets in his anal system and had been at the transit lounge when he was arrested.Kenyan authorities have intensified the war of drug trafficking via Kenyan Airports.
