The high school junior together with about 40 friends were celebrating a fellow teen's birthday when he got up to dance. Eye witnesses say he was facing backwards and didn't see the bridge coming.
The tour bus pulled over immediately as friends took him downstairs and emergency services were at the scene within minutes. Passenger Gage Stroman, 17, was among the 45-strong party on board.
He said the bridge struck Mason's head and hands: "We took him downstairs and that's where he stayed until help arrived." Gage said the friends were celebrating another teen’s birthday when the incident happened. Follow @africanewspost
