British Drug Trafficker Saved By Air Crew After Cocaine Worth Kshs.4.6 Million Bursts In His Stomach.


A British drugs mule Colmin Smith, 48, escaped death by a whisker after a lifesaving operation was performed on him to remove a staggering 61 pellets of 75% pure cocaine. 

Smith had boarded a Virgin Atlantic flight from the Caribbean and was heading to London where he was to take the drugs. He boarded his flight at Antigua’s V C Bird Airport and had just settled down for the flight when he suddenly got unwell.

Luckily for him, he managed to tell an air hostess of his suffering before he passed out. The plane’s crew managed to prepare the plane for emergency landing and immediately on landing at Bermuda’s L F Wade International Airport. 

Medics who were all set to receive him hastily took him to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Smith had 239.39 grams of cocaine in his stomach, with a street value of £40,000.

 He was aligned in Hamilton Magistrates Court in Bermuda court after doctors had saved his life and fined pay £471 or face 80 days in prison. Smith thanked God and the airline crew’s actions for saving his life.
