After the conclusion of the World Cup in Brazil there has been a great change in the FIFA rankings. In the latest list published yesterday, Kenya's harambee stars moved 13 places up to hold the 95th position, a massive boost to the very hyped Harambee Stars.
The World Cup winners, Germany with no doubt hold the top most position, followed by Messi’s national team Argentina. Netherlands powerful show at the tournament saw them shift 12 ranks to hold position 3.
The ‘controversial’ Samba Boys Brazil well remembered for 7-1 thrashing by Germany hold position 7 closely followed by 2010 world champions, Spain who did not even go past the first round of the world Cup. We now have to wait and see whether they will Kenya will stand for the new position in their next game against Lesotho.
