Former Vice President and Wiper Democratic Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has publicly apologized to QTV journalist Kennedy Murithi following remarks he made to the journalist during a past press conference.
The reporter had asked Mr Musyoka what the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) would recommend as a solution to the "failures" of the ruling Jubilee coalition.
In reply, Mr Musyoka had asked the journalist to first identify himself and then refused to answer the question, dismissing him for having a name that “betrayed” him.
Kalonzo made the apology at Kariene Catholic Church in Central Imenti, Meru County where he attended service alongside the journalist, Murithi.
He said,“Many people went to social media and told me all manner of nasty things. Some even wished death for me, but today I want to say how sorry I am to my son, Mr Murithi, and all Kenyans at large,”
