A man in US was killed as he walked along Caspersen Beach near the city of Venice with his young daughter after a small plane crash landed on the sand.
Police in Florida, USA, said the man, had been walking along the beach when the small plane 'fell' on him.
The pilot and his passenger in a 1972 Piper Cherokee plane could not make it back to nearby Venice Airport.
Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said the pilot sent out a distress signal before trying to land on the beach.
The pilot and passenger survived uninjured during horrific landing, but the man walking his daughter was killed.
The girl was airlifted to the all Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
