President Uhuru's daughter Emily Wanjiru is not just good in her co-curriculum activities, but she is also good in school. Emily rose to fame after impressing the president with her award winning poem.

Uhuru was so impressed that he removed their family from the slums and bought them a brand new house. He later transferred the little girl to a better school after sponsoring her education.

Dennis Itumbi revealed the girls progress on social media and she is doing quite good; "Great to see Emily, The President’s poet get ready to graduate together with her classmates at St.Petroc School. She graduates on 22nd November.She was position 2 in her class" he wrote.
