The body which is now under controversy was found floating in River Yala bridge on Kisumu-Eldoret road near Kapsabet Town in Nandi County.
Yebei’s family identified the body as that of their kin who went missing on December 28, 2014. According to the family, Yebei excused himself from a dispensary at Turbo to buy water for the sick child but never returned.
The deceased was allegedly a witness at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
