CHRISTIAN LONGOMBA'S Condition Worsens….Here’s How You Can Help

Remember the two brothers who formed the Longombas?
The group consists of two brothers, Christian and Lovy Longomba.
The group entered Kenyan music scene in 2002 with their song “Dondosa”, which became a national hit.
Follow-up singles were “Piga Makofi”, “Shika More” and “Vuta Pumz”. Their debut album Chukua was released in 2005 by Ogopa DJ’s. In 2003 they had left Ogopa DJ’s record label together with Deux Vultures and Mr. Googz & Vinnie Banton, and formed an own label, Bad Man Camp. Deux Vultures and Longombas, however, later returned to Ogopa
They performed at the 2006 Channel O Music Video Awards in South Africa. The group later relocated from Kenya to Los Angeles.
Christian Longombas one of the two musical brothers suffered a seizure on May 18th 2015 where he was rushed to the hospital. On arriving at the hospital, he underwent tests and was diagnosed with Falx and parasagittal meningiomas which grows from the dural fold, called the falx, which runs between the left and right sides of the brain. It is extremely difficult to remove a tumour In the falx or parasagittal region because of the dangers of injuring the sinuses.

It took two weeks before Christian had his first surgery. The hospital had to study and wait for specialists due to the mass of the tumour. The neurosurgeons explained that they had never seen such a tumour and needed time to study it in order to come up with a way to remove it. T hey explained that the tumor had covered part of his pariental lobe and was mostly on the frontal lobe. Since the surgery was major and intense, it could have been associated with a variety of risks and side-effects which were: Infections, blood clots, permanent neurological deficit, bleeding out on the operating table, seizures, coma, stroke or complete blindness.
Christian underwent his first surgery, on May 29th 2015, which took ten hours long. Luckily the surgery was successful. He still had to undergo another surgery to remove the blood clots from the brain which was also successful.
The doctors noted that they were able to safely remove 90% of the tumor and he still needs to go through six weeks or more of radiation in order to completely remove the tumor. Now Christian can’t work or perform and the family is asking well-wishers for funds to cover the huge medical bill through a GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/yxz8rc4
