Mercy Njeri died while undergoing treatment after Ng'ang'a's Range Rover Sport collided head-on with the vehicle she was travelling in on Sunday evening.
Her husband Martin Mbugua, who was injured in the accident, is admitted at Tigoni subcounty hospital where she died.
According to the reports, he was seen drunk and driving on the wrong side of the road before crashing into the Saloon car. The eye witnesses said that Ng’ang’a then fled the scene, but police already arrested him and later released him on bail. His car’s insurance sticker was also found to have expired on July 19th.
The family of the deceased is now demanding justice for the death of their loved one.
