Many religious pundits however argue that in Dr.Owuor,we are seeing a modern day fake prophet who is out there to mislead his gullible flock through fake miracles and prayers.
To justify their argument,they quoted a case in point where a novice pastor who was a close ally of Dr David Owuor’s was admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in critical condition after he attempted to commit suicide by burning himself in Pastor Owuor’s house in Gigiri.
The ordeal took place in December last year and many Kenyans,including the late businessman,Jacob Juma,were quick to point accusing figures at Pastor Owuor and even suggest the incident might be connected to ‘Prophet’ owuor’s evil creeds.
