Deputy President (DP) William Ruto has castigated Chief Justice (CJ) Willy Mutunga for wearing an earring while holding the highest office in the Judiciary.

Speaking during a television interview on Tuesday, Ruto openly declared that he had a serious issue with the CJ being a role model to many lawyers in the county and still put on the ring.

The DP admitted that it bothered him that his son who is a lawyer was being led by someone wearing the ornament.
