A couple died on Sunday morning after falling into a pit latrine while running after each other in Nairobi’s Kangemi area.
The incident is said to have happened after the two engaged in a quarrel inside their house, forcing the woman to escape when the argument escalated.
Peter Nyamache then reportedly run after Clarence Chepkurui, his wife, towards an area that had an open latrine.
According to a witness, Chepkirui then slipped and fell into the 12-feet deep pit that had previously been used as a sewage.
