28-year-old Jackline Mwende from Kathama Village, Masii in Machakos County, is nursing serious injuries after her husband of 7 years, Stephen Ngila Thenge, chopped off her hands at the wrist on July 24. She is also nursing injuries on her head and neck from the gruesome attack which is said to be the most 'cases of domestic violence.
