Mr Hudson Nyasaka was arrested in Homa Bay town on Sunday alongside three others after being in hiding since August 11.
Nyasaka was transporting the cash from Mombasa airport to JKIA when he went missing.
The money, which was in foreign currencies of 50,000 US Dollars, 98,500 Euros and 90,000 Swiss Francs, was to be delivered to Trust Bank in Nairobi.
He has since been moved to Nairobi with his accomplices.
