The prime time news anchor announced on her social media account that she had been taken ill and was in the hospital. She, however, averted any cause for alarm by stating that she was well and hoped to be discharged by the end of the week.
“I’m still a little under the weather but I’ll be well by the end of the week. Thanks,” Mbugua said.
