Kenyan-born athlete Ruth Jebet is clearly enjoying the fruits of her stunning performance at the 2016 Rio Olympics where she clinched the first Gold medal for her adopted country Bahrain.
When the 19-year-old 3,000 metres steeplechase gold medalist jetted back to the middle-east island on Saturday evening, a big ceremony was prepared in her honour.
Ms Jebet touched down at the Bahrain International Airport to a heroine’s welcome by senior government and sports officials of the country.
