A businessman in Nyeri County was left utterly bemused when a gang of seven men offered an apology after raiding his home in Mweiga Town for seven hours.
The robbers, who were armed with machetes, invaded the home of Patrick Mute at around 8.30pm on Monday night and terrorised him together with his wife and children until 3 am the following day.
Mr Mute noted that the thugs demanded money assuring that they would not hurt them if they cooperated.
“They told us to give out all the money and they would not hurt us,” Muite was quoted by the Nation.
