Speaking during the party’s 10th anniversary in Mombasa, area governor Hassan Joho announced that the party had endorsed its leader Raila Odinga as the 2017 Presidential flag bearer.
Joho who is also ODM’s deputy chief made the declaration amid song and dance from the excited crowd which kept cheering.
The party declared that it would hit the ground running and campaign for the former Prime Minister to ensure he would clinch the Presidential position in the coming General Election.
