Former President Mwai Kibaki made his first public appearance after being discharged from hospital yesterday when he attended a Church Service at Consolata Shrine in Westlands.

Kibaki was flown to South Africa for specialized medical attention after suffering a stroke. 

Photos that have surfaced online show the 84 year old former President looking strong and healthy about 2 weeks after being discharged from Netcare Sunninghill Hospital in Johannesburg, where he underwent surgery. 

Father Daniel presided over the mass and asked the congregation to keep on praying for Kibaki’s health.
