A company linked to CORD leader, Raila Odinga, is under investigation after customs officials unearthed a multimillion shilling syndicate involving the illegal packaging and sale of untaxed ethanol meant for export.
In a clandestine operation carried by customs agents and police, the officers said that they followed three trucks that left Spectre International Ltd in Kisumu carrying drums of ethanol, which was declared as product for export to a company in Mwanza, Tanzania.
Spectre International is owned by CORD leader, Raila Odinga.
