According to Nkaissery, the accident which happened in Karai, was caused by a canter and not a trailer or a tanker as many Kenyans were made to believe.
Nkaissery said the driver of the canter transporting flammable chemicals to Uganda lost control, rammed into 14 vehicles and exploded into a fireball, which engulfed the other vehicles.
