In a social media post, Mr Ali noted that the plan was to apprehend him together with his colleague Dennis Onsarigo.
The Jicho Pevu reporter indicated that the directions were given following his series of online campaigns, calling for a free and fair poll in 2017.
“I hear there are plans to arrest me and my colleague @Donsarigo for asking fellow countrymen to vote for free and fair elections and not just peace next year. Hii Kenya!,” Ali wrote.
