Ranking is back after being banned for some years. Kenyans have been in the dark over who were the champions in the recently released KCSE 2016. Well Matiang’i finally decided to release the overall top 10 best performing schools catching everybody by surprise.

It turns out Kapsabet Boys High School from Nandi County emerged the best school nationally with a mean score of 9.9 (B+). They were followed closely by Friends School Kamusinga from Bungoma County who managed a mean score of 9.65 (B+).

Moi High School Kabarak emerged third with a mean score of 9.6 which is a B+.
