Prolactinoma is a condition in which a noncancerous tumor of the pituitary gland in your brain overproduces the hormone prolactin. The major effect is decreased levels of some sex hormones — estrogen in women and testosterone in men.
The condition, has made Gachuru a pariah among his fellow men in the community, who have ridiculed him for his inability to have children.
Gachuru has spent more than KSh 1 million in treatment and now plans to travel to India for surgery.
