The Senator has been suffering from high blood pressure, a condition normal for politicians. He was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital last week after collapsing in his Mombasa home.
At the hospital, the late Senator was placed in the ICU where only family members were allowed to see him. In the last two days, his body was not responding to drugs and was neither processing food. He gave up the ghost today after doctors at the hospital had told the family members that nothing could be done to save his life.
Boy Juma Boy is a veteran politician, who has interacted with Raila Odinga for decades. He is also very close to Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho. Until his death, he was Raila’s point man in North Coast.
