BREAKING SAD NEWS: Seven Storey Building Collapses in Kware Pipeline Estate Nairobi

A seven-storey building on Monday night collapsed at Kware area, in the densely populated Pipeline estate, Nairobi. Reports from rescue teams indicate that several people re feared to have been trapped in the rubble. Kamau Mwangi, a witness, said occupants were evacuated by police officers at around 7 pm although some people are suspected to have sneaked back to pick their belongings.

"But there are some people who sneaked back to collect some of their belongings before the building caved in. "We haven't been able to scrutinize but we believe some people could be trapped," he stated. The building is reported to have shown signs of collapsing earlier on. Rescue teams are currently combing the area in such of any trapped persons. Here is a photo:
