Kisumu Governor Prof. Peter Anyang' Nyong'o has declined to contribute 100K for burial arrangements of late Governor Gakuru as directed by Turkana County Governor Josephat Nanok (Council of Governors Chairman).

 Prof. Nyong'o said that counties are operating under very minimal revenue and cannot afford to use tax payers money for burial arrangements. 

He said that Every Governor is entitled personal insurance cover and that cover should work in the situation. However he said personal well wishers are welcome for contribution.
