Rachael Shebesh's husband Mr Franklin Ambundo shot himself

Former Nairobi Women Representative Rachel Shebesh husband Mr Franklin Ambundo shot himself in the leg as he was servicing his Glock 17 rifle.

Police are investigating the circumstances under which the 52 year old shot himself on Tuesday. Police were informed when Mr Ambundo sought treatment at Nairobi Hospital.

“Officers from the Kilimani Police Station rushed to the hospital as is the norm, and established that the patient was a civilian gun holder and that he had discharged one round of ammunition injuring himself,” a police officer told the Daily Nation.
