He was speaking during the Ugenya by-election campaigns where he had joined Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga, Senator James Orengo, MPs Opiyo Wandayi(Ugunja), Samuel Atandi (Alego/Usonga), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Peter Masara (Suna West) and Christine Ombaka (Siaya Woman Rep).
According to People Daily Oburu revealed that should the president ease his grip on the war on corruption, then Raila would not support him any longer.
“My brother Raila has put vigour in the fight against corruption because President Uhuru is committed.
"But in case he gets distracted by suspects to the extent of backing down, Raila would simply walk out of the Handshake," announced Oburu.
Raila's brother who is also a member of East African Assembly added that though the anti-graft war was gaining momentum and some of the looted resources had been traced and returned to the State, no firm action had been taken against some high-profile people implicated in graft.
