On electoral reforms, the two teams are said to have agreed to select 10 legislators, five from each side, to look into the issues raised about the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Uhuru and Ruto, during their Madaraka Day speeches in Nakuru, reiterated their stands that any changes about the IEBC must be done through the law.
The president said the constitution had clear procedures that must be followed to the latter. Even Ruto campaigned against the constitution in 2010 but now follows it, he noted.
CORD leaders on the other hand said they would name their team on Thursday, June 2.
Raila vowed to resume the weekly anti-IEBC protests if talks are not initiated by Monday, June 6.
