A Baby was delivered from her dead mother's womb after she was killed in Israeli air strike. The baby girl was delivered in emergency procedure by doctors.
Medics have said it is 'a miracle' the premature baby has survived. 23 year old woman named China on
them. Well and there -- ninth month of pregnancy.
The mother was killed when an
Israeli airstrike targeted her home her family's home. She was pronounced dead on arrival at a Gaza hospital. But miraculously doctors managed to save her unborn baby.
The
UN Security Council has called for 'immediate and unconditional humanitarian ceasefire' in the Gaza war between Israel and Hama. The death toll continues to climb despite US
efforts to broker a cease fire here in Gaza.
More than 800 Palestinians
killed so far. In Israel thirty plus Israeli soldiers have been killed
mostly in the ground offensive. Another three civilians were killed by
Hamas rocket fire.
In Gaza the overwhelming number of
casualties are civilians many of them women and children. 80% of the
casualties are thought to be civilians.
