Nigerian suspect is hospitalized at Kenyatta National Hospital after drugs that he was trafficking from Lagos Nigeria To Bangkok in Thailand bursted in his stomach while airborne.
Drug trafficking is a sure way of enriching oneself but the risks involved are enormous as this case clearly shows. This man was transporting drugs stuffed in his stomach, from Nigeria to Bangkok.
His plan could have worked had the Bangkok bound flight not delayed in Nairobi as a result of the pilot’s indisposition. The man who is middle aged had arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi from Lagos while on transit when the incident happened.
The plane that was to fly him out with other passengers to an Thailand booked him at the Laico Regency on Wednesday morning and it was from here that he fell sick prompting the Hotel's management and other Kenyan authorities to take him to East Africa’s Largest Hospital, KNH.
