According to popular blogger, Jimmie Bonnie, the father to Nyatike MP, Edick Anyanga, has not eaten for days and he is only waiting for a call from his maker.
Bonnie claimed he visited Anyanga’s father in his rural home in Nyatike and found the old man living in deplorable conditions.
According to the blogger, the MP's father claimed that Anyanga had abandoned him and has not even bothered to come and take him to hospital when he fell sick.

He said as a Good Samaritan, he left some food for the old man to last him a week and wondered what will happen to the MP's father when the food runs.

Yesterday we visited the biological father of Nyatike Constituency MP, Hon. Omondi Anyanga, mzee Anyanga (pictured left) who is wallowing in poverty, hopelessness and is currently bedridden at a community health center in my village. When we arrived, I saw poverty in its ugliest form. The old man wept as he narrated to us how he hasn't eaten anything for the past four days. The bitter part was when I asked him why his son (my area MP, Anyanga) has refused to buy him food or take him to a better hospital, he only shed tears and said, "wuodano ojwang'a" (my son has abandoned me)!
