Nairobi Senator has admitted that he is the father of the son of a woman in Kwale, Josephine Thuku. But the rich politician has denied being the father of the second child belonging to the same woman.
The woman has sued the senator for child support.The outspoken senator has however vowed to fight the case that seeks him to cater for the two children. Sonko said that he had already bought a car for the woman but later withdrew it when they disagreed.
The young politician who is known for his generosity said that he is yet to be served with the court papers. Sonko is expected to pay Shs.100,000 for food and up-keep, Shs. 10,000 for clothing, Shs. 10,000 for medical expenses and a further Shs. 20,000 for house allowance monthly. Sonko says that he has no discrimination over the second child saying that he pays school fees for his child and that Josephine the mother is entitled to supermarket shopping at his expense.
He alleges that whenever he goes shopping for his child, he makes sure that he includes the other child in his shopping list. The Senator says that he is ready to take a DNA test if the mother insists that the two children are his.
