Karua Advices Uhuru To Embrace Dialogue As A Referendum Will Be Too Costly For The Nation.



After a long absence from politics, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has come out strongly and urged the government to make room for dialogue.

 Karua who was a candidate in last year's elections said that dialogue was the best way to handle matters affecting the country instead of going through a costly referendum at the expense of the tax payers.

 “I think it is never too late for dialogue, the Jubilee administration should use dialogue as one way of bringing people together so that we can to face the challenges ahead of us especially security,” said Karua.

 She said in keeping with the Constitution and best democratic practices, the government should listen and appropriately respond to the genuine concerns of Kenyans. 

She asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to consinder giving dialogue a chance because refusal to do so will lead to a referendum which will impact negatively on nthe economic gains that the country has so far achieved.
