SAD NEWS: BIG KEV DIES AFTER A LONG PAINFUL BATTLE WITH CANCER. REST IN PEACE BROTHER!!!

Tru Blaq CEO Kevin Ombajo, famously known as Big Kev is Dead.Announcement of his death was made by one of his relatives at around 11pm Saturday. Big Kev had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010 and had been under the knife for more than 5 times.

His most recent surgery left him with a side effect of total blindness called optic atrophy caused by the optic nerves drying up.
He had created a huge(especially online)support and following due to his perseverance of fighting and creating awareness of his condition.
Among his last post he had written read.. interesting to note that over the last two months I have had *four* of these attacks..in class with my colleagues,With my driver, at home with the maid opening the door for me and most painfully a nasty fall in front of my young daughter and later Having her witness daddy shaking on the ground.

Most people will never experience a seizure in their lives and I pray you do not.. On February this year,Big Kev’s well wishers led by comedian jalangoo and a number of musicians held a fundraiser at the carnivore restaurant which accumulated ksh 7 million for his medical expenses.

He leaves behind a wife and a daughter.
